Bags Competition on the First Day of Spring!

March 21, 2019 By Fax Girl Leave a Comment

bags with the fax guys

While winter in Minnesota always features freezing temperatures and a ton of snow, this past winter was seriously brutal!  We weathered a severe artic cold front in January, where schools across the state were closed for days on end, and even our postal carriers didn’t venture out to deliver mail.  Can you say MINUS 50 degrees windchill (or even colder?!)  We then had to dig ourselves out of record-breaking snowfalls in February that resulted in record-breaking accidents and road, highway and interstate closures.

Now that Spring is officially here, and the snow is melting, we can finally breathe a sigh of relief. The sun is brightly shining, and the temperature is rising. Do you know that means?

Time to break out the bags!  Our team was thrilled to (finally!) get outside and enjoy the nice weather, and there’s no better way to do this than enjoying a game of bags. It’s a welcome, brief break in our day. After being sheltered indoors for months, just getting outside and playing a few yard games seems like a vacation!

Our first matchup of the season featured Brent and Zack. See them in action below:

The result? Brent won the game and earned bragging rights until the next round.

Zack’s response: “Sometimes a blind squirrel finds a nut…”

Looks like we will have to settle this budding rivalry with a few more games!
