Our team recently took a break from the fax business to try our hand at serving families. We took a trip to one of four Ronald McDonald Houses in Minnesota to serve up some great food and smiles.
Not only was this for a great cause, bringing some much needed cheer to families in need, but it also presented us with an opportunity to have some real quality team-building time.
All of our team members kept on saying how blessed they felt to have the opportunity to helps others, and the Ronald McDonald House was the perfect place to give back to our community.
We just hope everyone loved our meal as much as we loved cooking it.
What Was on the Menu?
Can you say “TACO TIME!”? We prepared and served Beef Tacos with all the fixings! This means crispy shell tacos, soft shell tacos, walking tacos, Potato Oles, Corn, Tortilla chips with Queso and Salsa! Of course there were beverages and an Ice Cream Sundae bar too. No one left hungry! We were happy to hear that a lot of the family members liked our offering, because the meal could be altered easily to make it vegetarian or gluten-free.
We started the day by hitting the grocery store to stock up on everything we needed for the event. Countless bags of food later, we headed on over to the Ronald McDonald House to get started.
We sliced and diced and sauteed and had fun wearing our Fax Guy aprons! Not all of our team members are as great in the kitchen as they are at serving our customers, but in the end we all came together to make a day to remember!

Opportunities to Give Back
RMHC is just one of several great opportunities to help others in the Twin Cities. The ‘Cooks for Kids’ program is run on 100% volunteers. Meals are provided to families with ill children who are hospitalized 365 days a year! There are other volunteer opportunities at RMHC as well.
We will certainly go back to volunteer more in the future, and we encourage all our partners, clients and friends to look into this great opportunity to give back to the community.
