As 2018 ends, we are taking a look back at the data from the entire year to analyze the top issues users encounter within RightFax. We consistently review the data based on the calls and emails our support team receives (see the most common RightFax support tickets they handle), but we also have another source of comprehensive data to report on: the number of times users have viewed specific tutorials on RightFax University, our free online training and support platform.
We have compiled the top 10 most watched RightFax support tutorials for the entire year, and we hope you can use them to resolve some common issues you may encounter while using RightFax.
#1: How to Resolve Common Print-to-Fax Issues With RightFax and Windows 7
This has long been our most watched video because updating print drivers can cause some of the advanced properties on the RightFax Fax Printer to be reset. This video shows you how to readjust these settings and get Print-to-Fax working again.
#2: What is RightFax and How Does it Work?
More people every year are inquiring about switching to RightFax, so it’s only natural that they would want to know more about what the software can do for their organization. This video provides a thorough introduction to RightFax and its many capabilities.
#3-4: How to Configure and Use the RightFax SMTP Email Gateway
RightFax email gateways act as a link between your RightFax server and your email server(s), allowing you to use your email client software in conjunction with your fax client system. This two-part series provides an overview of the RightFax SMTP email gateway as well as how to configure and use it.
#5: How to Fax From Microsoft Outlook
Using the RightFax Exchange Connector module makes it easy for organizations to integrate RightFax with Microsoft Outlook. This video quickly shows you how to create and send a fax in Outlook after the integration is complete.
#6: Loop Current Errors in RightFax
Loop current error codes are one of the most common, and often baffling, errors fax admins see in their FaxUtil interface or fax history. They usually occur when a fax board is having issues signaling the channel it uses to communicate with the gateway or network segment it is connected to. There are several different loop errors that can occur, each with their own particular solution.
#7: How to Fix Faxes Stuck in “Scheduled to be Sent” Status
When you just want to send a fax and move on with your day, nothing is worse than seeing a fax linger for extended periods of time in queue despite having no other faxes waiting to be sent ahead of it. If you see this status and need to get a fax out quickly, there are a few issues that could be causing the problem.
#8: Email Routing and Notification in RightFax
When you set up an integration between RightFax and your email client, you will need to configure users so they are able to receive faxes to their email inboxes. You will also be able to set up notifications that alert users when a fax arrives. This tutorial will show you how to do both.

If you are a RightFax admin who has permission to create and edit phonebooks, you can import new numbers into a phonebook via formatted text files. This short lesson will show you how to create those files and import them to your phonebook.
#10: How to Resolve Faxes Stuck in “Waiting for Phone Expansion” in RightFax 9.4 & 10 with SQL 2012
